Job summary

Department of Education Victoria is seeking an Early Childhood Funding Advisor (0.6 FTE) in the North-Eastern Victoria Region, Seymour or Shepparton. Fixed-term until 30 June 2029, with opportunities to support funded agencies and staff in delivering improved outcomes for children.

The role requires high-level communication, planning and attention to detail, and will involve working in a multidisciplinary team across the Early Childhood Improvement Branch.

Qualifications

• Strong skills and experience with office systems and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in maintaining accurate records in IT and funding systems.
• Support early childhood stakeholders including kindergartens, long day care centres and families with funding queries.
• Assist with preparation of documentation and records in line with policy guidelines.
