Job summary

Ausnet is seeking a Forward Planning Lead (Distribution) in Melbourne with hybrid work options to drive multi-year works plans and optimise delivery across networks. You will coordinate with Network Management, Operations and Asset Management to deliver safe, customer-focused outcomes.

You will provide deliverability assurance, capacity planning, and strategic input for investment and portfolio decisions, continually improving planning processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility sector planning and regulated networks.
• Proven ability to develop long-term works plans and budgets.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of monthly, annual and long-term works plans.
• Collaborate with Network Management, Operations and Asset Management.
• Forecast resources and deliverability across programs.
• Provide decision support on delivery scenarios and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies and tools.
