Job summary

Pact Group is seeking a proactive Demand Planner for its Steel packaging division on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Melbourne. You will drive rolling forecasts, support S&OP cycles, and improve planning processes across the division.

Working with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing, you will analyse demand, report on trends and help establish scalable planning practices to strengthen cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Depth of experience in demand planning gained within manufacturing environments.
• Experience establishing or improving demand planning and S&OP processes.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving capability.
• Experience with ERP systems, essentially, SAP.
• Exposure to statistical forecasting models and machine learning methodologies.
• Demonstrated change management and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a rolling, collaborative sales forecast.

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our Steel packaging business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager - Steel, you will lead demand planning activities and help establish robust, scalable S&OP processes across the division.

About the role
