Job summary

The Tardis Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive opportunities in Defence, IT and SATCOM within Canberra. You will build trusted relationships with Defence and Government, translate requirements into commercial opportunities and lead strategies across primes and partners.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage long sales cycles, and work with delivery teams to shape customer solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in business development within Defence, Government, IT, telecommunications or SATCOM.
Strong understanding of the Australian Defence and Commonwealth Government ecosystem.
Existing relationships across Defence, Government, Defence Primes or relevant industry bodies.
Ability to develop and manage complex sales pipelines and long-cycle opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with growth objectives.
Identify opportunities across Australian Defence, Commonwealth Government, Defence Primes and industry.
Build and maintain relationships with Defence, Government, industry and technology stakeholders.
Develop sales pipelines, account plans and capture strategies.
Monitor Defence and Government procurement activity, tenders and programs.
Engage with customers to translate requirements into commercial opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling customer solutions.
Develop strategic partnerships, alliances and channel relationships.
Support responses to RFIs, RFTs, tenders and EOIs.
