Job summary

Thales Group in Australia seeks an experienced Program Manager for the Explosive Ordnance Services. You will own the lifecycle of programs, ensuring governance, risk management and performance across subcontractors while engaging Defence stakeholders.

Perform in a leadership role within Orchard Hills on Darug land, driving continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence and shaping growth opportunities for sovereign capability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated program management experience with contract management.
• Experience in logistics/complex/high-risk services.
• Upscaling logistics operations in high-risk environments.
• Proven ability to manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships.
• Leadership mindset with focus on performance and collaboration.
• Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
• HSE/Engineering/Science tertiary qualifications are essential.
• Postgraduate certifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic partnership with Defence and lead senior stakeholder engagement as the trusted interface with Joint Logistics Command and EO enterprise.
• Lead end-to-end program accountability ensuring contractual compliance, governance integrity and delivery performance across all subcontracting arrangements.
• Safeguard commercial performance and champion risk and assurance frameworks.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture that enhances safety, efficiency and operational excellence.
• Shape and support capture and growth opportunities.
• Oversee asset stewardship across our nationwide network.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team enabling leadership, succession and engagement.
