Job summary

Accenture in Melbourne is seeking a pricing consultant to shape pricing, costing and financial deals across consulting and outsourcing contracts. You will work with management and stakeholders to balance risk and reward in deal structuring and development.

You will bring commercial and financial rigor to support the commercial approach and client value proposition, guiding teams through complex pricing scenarios while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business related disciplines.
• CA/CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of pricing & costing experience.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and financial accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams in developing and submitting pricing proposals to clients.
• Produce a view of sales profitability and balance sheet position using company financial models.
• Prepare and present financial findings, including averages, resource mix, profitability and scenario analyses.
• Apply US GAAP accounting concepts and ensure compliance.
• Lead deal pricing activities and contribute to compelling business cases and financial value propositions.
• Collaborate with sales, solution architects, legal and finance teams to optimize deal structures.
• Manage timelines and deliverables independently.
• Contribute to DS capabilities and industry thought leadership.
• Mentor junior staff in deal pricing and growth.
