Job summary

DoorDash ANZ is seeking a data scientist to join the Global Analytics team. You will dive into data to solve business problems, run experiments, and build analytics that drive real-world decisions across our supply, growth, and operations.

You'll partner with product, finance and operations, craft dashboards using SQL, Python or R, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve delivery reliability and Dasher earnings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics, consulting, or quantitative roles.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and test hypotheses with data.
• Experience leading strategic projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with experimentation techniques (A/B testing, Causal Inference).
• Strong SQL skills and basic ETL.
• Programming in Python or R.
• Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, business, finance and executives to guide decisions at DoorDash.
• Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports and dashboards using SQL, Python, or R.
• Identify levers to move key metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Deliver insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and long-term trends.
