Evolution Mining is seeking a senior cyber security architect to shape the security architecture across IT and OT environments. Based in Sydney, you will lead governance and strategy, collaborating with enterprise architects, engineers and business leaders to embed security into major initiatives and operations across Australia and Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing secure IT and OT environments.
• Strong understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management and governance.
• Experience embedding security controls into technology solutions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational environments.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams and business leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Evolution's cyber security architecture framework.
• Define security standards, principles and design patterns for IT and OT environments.
• Partner with architects, engineers and stakeholders to embed security into solution design.
• Assess security risks and ensure appropriate controls are incorporated into initiatives.
• Support architecture governance activities and Architecture Review Board processes.
• Provide expert guidance on cyber security strategy and threat management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security architecture, standards and practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to technology and business stakeholders.
