Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Lead Corridor Systems Engineer to set the technical direction for multi-modal transport corridors, integrating pavements, drainage, hydrology and structures across road and rail.

You will lead a team of engineers, apply standards and governance, drive innovation and whole‑of‑life cost outcomes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for corridor integration across roads and rail, coordinating pavements, drainage, hydrology and structures.
• Lead a team of engineers and specialists with delegated technical authority to ensure safe, reliable and sustainable asset interactions.
• Develop, maintain and apply standards, specifications and governance frameworks for lifecycle outcomes.
• Assess performance of TAOs, manage concessions, resolve technical issues, and advise on new technologies.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across internal and external stakeholders to optimise whole‑of‑life cost.
