Job summary

Sacyr is seeking a Contract Administrator / Procurement professional to provide commercial support, optimise deals and ensure cost control for Australian operations. The role focuses on managing subcontractor procurement, tendering processes and contract administration within a dynamic, international environment.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in construction contracting, sound financial and risk management skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven solid experience as a Contract Administrator in a similar role.
• Experience with main contractors, builders or infrastructure contractors.
• Experience in managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial principles.
• Knowledge of project cost control, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Relevant qualification.
• Spanish language skills are highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support to optimise deals and meet project cost controls.
• Oversee contractual and financial arrangements to manage risk and protect rights.
• Create and manage procurement, tendering and contract administration activities.
• Monitor cost control, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting for projects.
• Interpret and manage contracts and commercial risk; support negotiation and strategy.
