Job summary

The Hospital Research Foundation Group is seeking a Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator in Western Australia to grow engagement, deliver campaigns and build partnerships with businesses, sponsors and community organisations.

You will coordinate peer-to-peer activities, corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities, while managing event briefs, budgets and reports in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Some travel and out-of-hours work are required.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorship or events.
  • Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and professional networks.
  • Knowledge of community and peer-to-peer fundraising and event management.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and public speaking skills.
  • Strong planning, time management and ability to meet financial targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM, project management systems and MS Office.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and compassionate approach; interest in health not-for-profit sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of partnership, sponsorship, and community fundraising plans aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Identify and cultivate new corporate partners, sponsors, community groups and fundraising opportunities across Western Australia.
  • Nurture existing relationships and create mutually beneficial engagement, campaign and event opportunities.
  • Lead the growth and delivery of peer-to-peer and community fundraising programs, including established campaigns.
  • Develop event briefs, schedules, budgets and delivery plans, coordinating suppliers and stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor fundraising targets and KPIs, providing timely reports and maintaining accurate supporter information in the CRM.
  • Promote positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, volunteers, partners, supporters and the wider community.
