Job summary

The St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland, including Vinnies Housing and our Vinnies Retail Stores, is seeking a Community Engagement and Events Business Partner based in South Brisbane. You will lead planning and delivery of community engagement, stakeholder relations and strategic events across our Property and Construction and Housing portfolios.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Community Engagement, Public Relations or related discipline.
• Proven experience planning and delivering strategic events and forums with senior leaders and government reps.
• Strong understanding of housing and community development contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a rolling 12-month community engagement and events plan aligned to funding and priorities.
• Build relationships with government representatives, community leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and coordinate strategic events and engagement opportunities that promote collaboration.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Fundraising and Government Relations to ensure consistent communication.
• Monitor and report on engagement outcomes and provide insights to senior leaders.
