Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead communication strategies for large, diverse organisations.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Familiarity with digital systems is desirable.
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the region’s external communications strategy, including scheduling, budgeting, and best-practice delivery.
• Support the Regional Group Executive with internal and external engagement activities.
• Support defining and promoting the region’s EVP, reinforcing values, vision, and culture.
• Manage Australia West OpCos brand presence and contribute to brand guidelines and collateral.
• Provide brand and content support during ESG reporting periods.
• Maintain the region’s websites and social media channels, ensuring accuracy and risk compliance.
• Deliver media relations, project announcements, and crisis communications.
• Develop and deliver regional advertising campaigns and promotional activity.
• Design and deliver regional events to enhance brand equity and business objectives.
• Manage regional sponsorships and industry engagement initiatives.
