Job summary

Quickway is seeking a Commercial Lead/Commercial Manager to drive the commercial function across large civil infrastructure projects in New South Wales. You will oversee procurement, contract administration, risk management and stakeholder engagement from Silverwater HQ to project sites.

You will lead negotiations, manage variations and EOTs, and ensure strong commercial outcomes while protecting company interests. A tertiary qualification and solid contract experience are required.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in a relevant discipline and legal understanding are essential.
• Experience in complex construction contracts and commercial leadership is required.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder influence skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of major civil infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract agreements and packages.
• Manage variations, EOT claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor budgets, forecasting, cash flow and cost control.
• Identify commercial risks and implement mitigations.
• Provide commercial guidance to project delivery teams.
• Manage subcontractor performance and relationships.
• Prepare commercial reports for senior management.
• Ensure obligations are managed throughout delivery.
