Job summary

efm Logistics is seeking a Commercial Analyst in Sydney to discover, deliver, and embed commercial initiatives. The role focuses on data analytics, model building, and collaborating with multiple departments to drive commercially viable solutions for customers.

You will present findings, support negotiations with procurement, and monitor risks to realise benefit, while contributing to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a Commerce, Business Information Systems or Supply Chain related field.
• Capacity to produce high quality reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Extract, understand and manipulate data from various sources.
• Convert data into insights through analytics and modelling.
• Design operationally and commercially viable solutions for customers and to support improvements to the business.
• Present analytical projects with tangible financial impacts.
• Identify, implement, and monitor risks and actions to realise commercial benefits.
• Partner with Procurement to understand market conditions and support negotiations.
• Present to internal and external stakeholders on commercial initiatives.
• Configure systems and extract/manipulate data for analytics needs.
