Job summary

Western Union seeks a Change Manager to lead the development and execution of change strategies for complex transformation, regulatory, risk, and remediation initiatives in a banking/financial services context. This is a full-time 24-month contract based in Sydney with Western Union’s Compliance Team.

The role partners with program leadership to drive business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and effective communications and training to enable adoption of new processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience delivering regulatory and compliance change initiatives.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.
• Certification in change management (Prosci/ACMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Change Impact Assessment & Readiness: Assess impacts and develop readiness plans.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Build relationships with leaders and stakeholders; align priorities.
• Communications & Training Enablement: Develop communications, change messaging, and training materials.
• Change Implementation & Adoption: Execute change plans and facilitate adoption of remediation initiatives.
• Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Monitor readiness and adoption metrics; report risks.
