Job summary

Design & Build—an established Australian business with national operations—seeks a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team. You will partner with the CEO to influence strategy, strengthen performance and prepare the organisation for the next growth phase.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow and governance across multiple entities, driving profitability and transformation initiatives with strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CFO or commercially focused senior finance leadership role, with turnover of $50mil upwards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO as a strategic adviser across all commercial and financial matters.
• Lead the finance function across multiple operating and property entities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Manage banking relationships, funding arrangements and debt covenant reporting.
• Improve financial controls, business reporting and commercial decision-making.
• Provide investment analysis and capital allocation recommendations.
• Influence pricing, procurement and operational performance.
• Support business transformation initiatives and prepare the organisation for future growth opportunities.
