Job summary

Solo Resource Recovery is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership across multi-site operations. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and capital management while partnering with the Directors, CEO and C-Suite to shape business strategy and performance.

Qualifications

• Accounting/finance degree with CPA/CA or equivalent.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with strategic contribution.
• Proven senior financial leadership and mentoring of finance teams.
• Advanced budgeting, forecasting, modelling and analytics.
• Ability to develop performance measures across branches and units.
• Experience with governance, compliance, taxation and audit.
• Experience in acquisitions, due diligence and integration.
• Knowledge of contracts, tenders and pricing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with Directors and C-Suite.
• Background in asset-intensive industries preferred (transport, manufacturing, etc).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across financial management, budgeting and forecasting, performance reporting and cash flow.
• Oversee capital management, governance and financial decision-making.
• Develop processes and systems to improve financial visibility and accountability.
• Lead the Finance Team and mentor staff across multi-site operations.
• Evaluate business cases for major capex and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Directors and C-Suite on strategic plans and risks.
