Job summary

Altus Financial is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, governance, and long‑term performance. You will partner with the CEO/COO and Directors to steer growth through mergers and acquisitions while maintaining client focus and a people‑centred culture.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and capital planning, while building a high‑performing finance function and strengthening external relationships with auditors and partners.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience in a professional services or advisory environment.
• Proven capability in strategic planning, financial modelling, and commercial analysis.
• Experience leading M&A processes from due diligence to integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and governance across the firm.
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation, modelling and post‑acquisition integration for M&A.
• Strengthen financial systems, reporting, and capital management to support growth.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team aligned with Altus values.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, audits, and external relationships.
