Job summary

ThompsonCook is seeking a commercially focused Chief Financial Officer to join a high-growth technology business in Sydney. You will partner with the CEO and ELT to shape strategic and capital pathways and drive value across the business.

This role goes beyond traditional reporting, offering true commercial influence as the company accelerates growth in SaaS, tech, and services. You will oversee treasury, finance, reporting, and governance, leading a scaling finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance leadership within fast-growing tech or SaaS environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner with CEOs and ELT.
• Hands-on leadership style spanning strategic and operational finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, treasury, reporting, tax, audit, cash flow and working capital management.
• Partner with the CEO to drive commercial strategy, capital decisions and growth initiatives.
• Oversee capital strategy, debt facilities and equity financing for accelerated growth.
• Develop robust management and Board reporting and governance across the group.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the business scales.
