Job summary

Swatch Group Australia is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team and drive performance across our brands. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee Finance, Controlling and IT and partner with senior leaders to deliver profitable growth.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, treasury and risk management, as well as process improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading finance and controlling functions within a multinational retail, FMCG or consumer goods environment.
• Proven ability to partner with commercial leaders to drive sales growth, profitability and working capital improvements.
• Strong knowledge of financial governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance.
• Experience in capital investment planning, business case development and financial modelling.
• Strong treasury, cash flow and working capital management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis activities.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits, treasury, cash flow and working capital management.
• Maintain strong financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.
• Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to develop strategic plans, budgets and forecasts, including KPI frameworks and reporting tools.
• Lead business case development, investment evaluation and financial modelling for key initiatives.
• Lead monthly performance reviews and forecasting discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Act as the key Finance, Controlling and IT liaison with Group headquarters.
