Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Based in Sydney, you will support the delivery of strategic projects and digital initiatives, engaging with stakeholders and defining requirements.

You will elicit, analyse and document requirements, produce BA artefacts and help assess options, risks and benefits. Experience in large programs and familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery is

Qualifications

Experience delivering business analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories and requirements documentation.
Ability to analyse business problems and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and consultations to validate requirements.
Produce high-quality BA artefacts including process maps and business cases.
Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
Assess solution options, risks and benefits to support decision-making.
Support change impact assessments and implementation planning.
Work across multiple projects within a complex stakeholder environment.
Proven experience delivering BA services in large, complex programs or projects.
