Job summary

Calleo in Canberra is seeking a Finance Coordinator to support budget planning, financial management, and capital budgeting within a Commonwealth Government environment. Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, commerce or business with CA/CPA progression or equivalent.
• Understanding of Australian Government financial framework and budget processes.
• Strong ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with CBMS and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide budgeting advice and support to internal stakeholders.
• Lead external and capital budget processes and budget submissions.
• Prepare key budget publications like PBS, PAES, and Capital Management Plan.
• Manage government reporting requirements and responses to Estimates Memoranda.
• Offer strategic advice on budget policy and ministerial communications.
• Support capability uplift through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Drive continuous improvement of budgeting tools and processes.
