Job summary

Mahlab in Sydney is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to lead delivery of our client's marketing and communications program, accountable for strategy implementation and client satisfaction. You’ll work with the client’s executive team to develop thought leadership content and advise on topics for involvement.

You will manage and mentor the account team and coordinate with Mahlab and AFGC to deliver multi‑discipline campaigns.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years' experience in B2B communications or integrated marketing roles, ideally within an agency.
• Team player and capable of leading from the front.
• Proven success delivering pipeline growth programs.
• Strong analytical skills turning data into insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management.
• Strategic, proactive, organized and results-driven.
• Creative, adaptable and detail oriented, hungry for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day relationship with the client.
• Accountable for successful implementation of the marketing and communications strategy, and client satisfaction.
• Spot opportunities to add value and strengthen the partnership.
• Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor to the client.
• Manage and mentor the account team and Mahlab Content Creators, Media Relations Specialists and a Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and departments within Mahlab and at AFGC.
• Organise internal and external resources to meet project and client requirements.
• Write thought leadership content for client’s executive team.
