Job summary

Stawell Secondary College invites applications for the Assistant Principal: Teaching and Learning. The role provides strategic, instructional and organisational leadership to ensure every student has access to high-quality teaching and learning and the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

As a member of the Principal Team, you will translate the School Strategic Plan into coherent teaching practices, lead the instructional improvement agenda, build capacity of teachers and leaders, and

Qualifications

• Must have provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Postgraduate leadership qualification is preferred.
• Experience in school improvement and curriculum leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of teaching programs.
• Lead staff development and performance improvement.
• Ensure child safe environment in line with standards.
• Contribute to overall school management and governance.
• Lead the College Leadership Team to align values and vision.
• Drive instructional improvement and use of learning technologies.
