Job summary

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking a Manager, Asset Policy and Strategy to lead strategic asset management across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. You will oversee asset policy, assurance, coordinate capital planning, and guide investment decisions in alignment with government policy.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage complex programs, and drive climate risk integration into asset planning to improve long-term performance

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, capital planning, or infrastructure finance with strategic advisory capability.
• Knowledge of asset management frameworks, governance, reporting, and translating policy into outcomes.
• Proven track record managing complex programs and delivering within tight timeframes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience integrating climate risk into asset planning and disclosures.
