Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Consulting team seeks an Associate Director to grow and deliver Strategic Asset Management offerings. You’ll lead engagements that strengthen asset strategies, governance, operating models and capital investment planning, turning asset information into practical recommendations.

You’ll work across Canberra or Sydney-based engagements, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring colleagues to drive client impact and growth.

Qualifications

• Asset management expertise including developing strategies, governance frameworks and operating models.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle applications.
• Familiarity with ISO 55000 principles and practical deployment.
• Ability to connect organisational objectives with asset performance, risk and investment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic asset management frameworks, strategies and plans aligned with client objectives.
• Design governance and operating models to support effective asset management.
• Lead capital planning, investment prioritisation and funding considerations.
• Assess asset management maturity and recommend improvements.
• Summarise asset data and insights for evidence-based decisions.
• Advise on asset information governance and digital tools to improve planning.
• Lead client workshops, manage engagements and build senior stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to business development and mentor junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with related teams to connect strategy with delivery.
