Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Consulting team in Canberra is seeking a curious, analytical Senior Consultant to contribute to research, analysis and client advice across property assets, portfolios, investments and projects.

You’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in property, infrastructure, consulting, government or professional services, plus a relevant qualification, and you’ll develop your technical, commercial and writing skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property, infrastructure, consulting, government or professional services.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in property, economics, finance, planning, engineering, commerce or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret information and explain findings clearly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
• Experience in financial modelling, business cases, market research, property advisory or EstateMaster would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Support advisory assignments: feasibility studies, business cases, property strategies, and transactions.
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpret property, market, financial and policy information.
• Prepare client reports, presentations and supporting materials.
• Contribute to financial modelling, market research and demand analysis.
• Support proposals, pitches and project administration.
• Collaborate with colleagues across assignments, manage priorities and maintain quality.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues and contribute ideas to improve workflows.
