Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking Specialist Strategy Engineers to join the Asset Management team in West Perth, with regular travel to site. You will shape long-term asset reliability and availability across critical fixed plant assets and lead maintenance strategy improvements.

The role requires extensive reliability engineering experience in mining, with a focus on asset management, defect elimination and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in reliability engineering, asset management and maintenance engineering within the mining industry.
• Proven track record delivering reliability improvements and maintenance strategy optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of fixed plant assets and lifecycle asset management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term asset strategies and Asset Management Plans for critical fixed plant assets.
• Lead reliability improvement and defect elimination initiatives and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
• Review and optimise maintenance tactics, asset strategies and master data to improve performance.
