Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking a Transformation Specialist Asset Management on a 12-month fixed-term contract based at the West Perth office. The role reports to the Principal Business Asset Management and focuses on turning the Asset Management Strategy into practical improvements through AI, automation, governance, and change adoption.

You will work with Asset Management leaders, Reliability and Maintenance teams, Technology and Data, and site operations to deliver value and sustained

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in asset management, maintenance, reliability, engineering, or transformation roles.
• Proven ability to deliver and track process improvements and operating model design.
• Experience deploying systems or digital change in an operational environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and related maintenance data and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into sequenced change plans balancing value and risk.
• Lead workstreams across teams and convert complex problems into practical plans.
• Analyse data and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and implement AI tools and automation.
• Build alignment through clear communication, training and change adoption.
• Apply structured change management to sustain new ways of working.
• Ensure efficiency gains are captured in asset performance, reliability and safety.
