Job summary

Cloudera’s Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team seeks a senior AI/ML engineer to build production-grade AI applications and accelerate enterprise AI adoption with strategic customers.

You will design scalable AI architectures, prototype full-stack ML apps, and contribute to replicable patterns and tooling while collaborating with customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade AI/ML systems.
• 2–4 years building ML or GenAI/agentic apps.
• Strong software and data engineering skills.
• Ability to design scalable AI architectures.
• Experience with foundation models and RAG workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype full-stack AI apps.
• Partner with strategic customers to drive AI use cases.
• Advise on AI architecture and roadmaps.
• Codify patterns into reference architectures and playbooks.
• Mentor teams and contribute to reusable tooling.
