Ampcontrol is seeking an experienced Accounting & Compliance Manager to support the Group Financial Controller and lead accurate, timely financial reporting across the Group. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring financial statement integrity, statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audit management and governance improvements across a multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Significant experience in financial accounting, group accounting, controllership or similar senior role.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and external audits.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, financial controls and governance.
• Ability to provide practical technical accounting advice on complex transactions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across all levels.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement in finance processes.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes for all entities with accurate reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and external audits.

• Maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.

• Support finance transformation initiatives (e.g., D365 F&O), standardisation and automation.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team and broader finance function.
