Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is Brisbane-based and seeks a Storesperson to support aircraft maintenance operations across stores, logistics, stock control and tooling movements.

You will work across a 4 on / 4 off DDNN roster, with early and late shifts, applying strong warehouse and aviation stores experience to maintain supply chains and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ warehouse and/or logistics experience is desirable.
• Aviation stores or aircraft maintenance environment experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensure unserviceable components are dispatched for repair in a timely manner.
• Maintain supply of commercial items.
• Oversee shipping and transfer of company tooling between bases.
• Coordinate stock and freight movements to meet aircraft schedules.

Role Description

An ongoing Storesperson opportunity is available in Brisbane supporting aircraft maintenance operations across aircraft stores, logistics, stock control, freight coordination and tooling movements.

The role will suit candidates with strong warehouse, logistics or aviation stores experience who can work reliably across a 4 on / 4 off DDNN roster. Candidates with aircraft maintenance, line/ramp or aviation stores experience will be highly regarded.

You will:

• Ensure unserviceable components are dispatched for repair in a timely manner
• Maintain supply of commercial items
• Oversee shipping and transfer of company tooling between bases
• Coordinate stock and freight movements to meet aircraft schedules
• Inspect and return unused parts following maintenance events
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and organisation skills

Required Role Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ warehouse and/or logistics experience is desirable. Aviation stores or aircraft maintenance environment experience will be highly regarded.

Maintenance Qualification / Licence:

No aircraft maintenance licence or trade qualification is specified for this Storesperson role.

Work Rights:

Candidates must have the appropriate Australian work rights for the role.

Location / Availability:

Brisbane based candidates are preferred. Must be available to complete initial Monday-Friday training and commit to the ongoing 4 on / 4 off DDNN roster.

Additional Requirements:

Current Manual Driver’s Licence is mandatory. Forklift Licence is desirable. Successful candidates must complete all required onboarding, including ASIC/ID application and required Workday Learning.

Skills:

Strong warehouse, logistics and stock control capability. Understanding of aircraft Line/Ramp Operations is desirable. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance or overhaul documentation and planning processes is desirable.

Reliable, organised, safety-focused and able to make sound decisions while coordinating stock, freight, tooling and component movements against aircraft maintenance requirements.
