Job summary

Hazeldene’s Bendigo is seeking a Store Person to assist the Procurement Manager and Stores Assistant in the efficient management and movement of equipment, parts, materials and services across Hazeldene’s sites. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a forklift license required.

You will monitor stock levels, unload trucks, replenish stock, and maintain accurate records. A strong focus on customer service, teamwork and adherence to OHS/HR requirements is essential.

Job description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Provide assistance to the Procurement Manager and Stores Assistant in the efficient management and movement of equipment, parts, materials and services, as required, to enable the optimisation of the site plant, equipment and grounds across all Hazeldene’s sites.

Hazeldenes is committed to providing appropriate training and support to all of its employees. The Store Person will actively participate in all training to reach performance objectives as outlined in this Position Description.

Permanent on-going - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Must have forklift License.

Must have full work rights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor stock levels and report low stock volume to the Store Co Ordinator or Procurement Manager.
• Provide a timely, professional and accurate customer service experience at all times
• Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard taking into account the operational requirements of all areas of Hazeldenes
• Maintain accurate and timely records of stock movement as required
• Work as an effective member of the team, including maintaining effective levels of communication
• Follow all systems and processes to ensure that OHS and HR requirements are met
• Unload trucks, check against manifest and replenish stock to the correct location. Report any faults/damages or missing goods.
• Other duties as may be requested within the skill level of this role
