Job summary

Maxima is seeking an experienced Stores Worker for a casual assignment in Caboolture. The role offers 38-hour weeks on a Monday–Friday pattern, payable at $34.96 per hour plus super, with on-site duties in a warehouse setting.

You will handle goods requests, manage deliveries, and maintain stock levels while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Forklift operations and stocktakes are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current high risk license – Forklift.
• Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or other relevant field – desirable.
• Previous experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a stores facility including allocation and monitoring of workloads.
• Working knowledge of stores and inventory practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point for all customer requests for goods and materials and issue requisitioned goods within identified timeframes
• Manage stock deliveries, including the unloading, verification of goods received against order and restocking of stores inventory warehouse
• Respond to stores queries and proactively engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service deliverables and outcomes, including the notification of orders for collection
• Assist in undertaking perpetual stocktake of store inventory and report on anomalies, as required
• Assist in maintaining inventory stock at acceptable levels
• Operate plant (i.e. forklift, wheel loader, front end loader) as required
