Job summary

Maxima Recruitment Services in Caboolture is seeking an experienced Stores Worker for a casual assignment, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. The role offers $34.96 per hour plus super. You will manage stock, receive and issue goods, and support stocktakes and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate holds a C class driver’s license, a forklift license, and has experience in stores/inventory management, with a relevant warehousing qualification being desirable.

Qualifications

• Current C class driver's license.
• High risk Forklift license.
• Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience managing day-to-day operations of a stores facility.
• Working knowledge of stores and inventory practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point for all customer requests for goods and materials and issue requisitioned goods within identified timeframes.
• Manage stock deliveries, including unloading, verification of goods received against orders and restocking of stores inventory warehouse.
• Respond to stores queries and proactively engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service deliverables and outcomes, including notification of orders for collection.
• Assist in undertaking perpetual stocktake of store inventory and report on anomalies, as required.
• Assist in maintaining inventory stock at acceptable levels.
• Operate plant (i.e. forklift, wheel loader, front end loader) as required.

About You:

• Current C class driver's license
• Current high risk license - Forklift
• Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or other relevant field - desirable
• Previous experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a stores facility including allocation and monitoring of workloads
• Working knowledge of stores and inventory practices and procedures
