Job summary

Lite n' Easy is seeking a Stores QC Officer to ensure incoming goods, raw materials, packaging and inventory meet quality, food safety and operational standards. You will inspect materials, manage quality documentation and assist with stock counts as part of a cross-functional team.

The role involves coordinating with Stores, Supply Chain, Production and Quality teams to ensure products meet high standards before reaching customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Stores, Warehousing, Inventory Control or Supply Chain environments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience using inventory management systems and/or Microsoft Access.
• Proven ability to conduct inspections and accurately complete documentation and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of incoming raw materials, ingredients, packaging and supplier-delivered goods.
• Verify products against specifications, food safety requirements and quality standards.
• Manage non-conforming products, stock holds, supplier quality issues and product release processes.
• Assist with inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts, stock takes and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and maintain quality, inventory and traceability records while supporting KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Stores QC Officer plays a critical role in ensuring all incoming goods, raw materials, packaging and inventory meet Lite n' Easy's quality, food safety and operational standards. This position combines hands-on quality assurance activities with inventory control responsibilities to support efficient warehouse operations and product integrity.

You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, managing quality documentation and assisting with stock counts. Working closely with Stores, Supply Chain, Production and Quality teams, you'll help ensure our products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. This role is Monday to Friday working between 3am to 11am.

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Stores, Warehousing, Inventory Control or Supply Chain environments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience using inventory management systems and/or Microsoft Access.
• Proven ability to conduct inspections and accurately complete documentation and record keeping.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems.
• Experience managing non-conforming products, supplier quality concerns and compliance processes.
• Forklift Licence (LF) and/or current driver's licence.
