Job summary

Kinetic Well Intervention Services seeks a Stores, Materials and Logistics Coordinator in Roma, QLD. You will implement warehouse systems, manage inventory, and support WIS Superintendents with efficient supply chains.

Key duties include stock control, audits, liaising with vendors, and ensuring compliant handling of explosives per Australian standards. Role requires a strong regulatory mindset and field logistics experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in supply management or logistics.
• PMASUP236 – Operate vehicles in the field (Mandatory)
• QLD Explosives Security clearance
• QLD license to transport explosives (preferred)
• Industry Safety Induction (ISI) or Drilling and Completions General Induction (DCGI) (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, inventory or logistics management preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
• Significant experience of dealing with vendors and logistics providers
• Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems with familiarisation of barcoding or RFID systems
• High level oral and written communication and numeracy skills
• Demonstrated experience of working cooperatively in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain efficient warehouse layout and safe operations.
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems and warehousing processes.
• Ensure all stored inventory and equipment are secure and environmentally safe.
• Perform regular inventory audits and stock takes for accuracy.
• Conduct quality inspections on inventory and equipment before use or rerouting.
• Coordinate demand forecasting and planning with internal stakeholders.
• Communicate delivery updates with vendors and stakeholders.
• Control costs within approved limits and ensure governance compliance.
• Be the primary point of contact for audits and compliance.
• Handle, transport and store explosives as per standards.
• Develop a waste management system for warehouse efficiency.
• Keep warehouse documentation updated and archived.
• Develop relationships with transport and logistics providers for timely shipping.
