Job summary

FS Equipment Pty Ltd in Hemmant, Brisbane is seeking an experienced Stores Coordinator to manage day-to-day stock, receiving, packing, dispatch, and inventory control for a busy workshop and parts business.

You will handle Cin7 stock records, cycle counts, and coordinate freight while supporting the Purchasing and sales teams. A forklift licence is preferred and Australian driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse, or parts experience in heavy diesel industry.
• Knowledge of heavy diesel engine and transmission parts (Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, Allison).
• Strong attention to detail and methodical stock control.
• Competent with inventory software, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock, matching deliveries against POs.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders domestically and internationally.
• Book freight and coordinate courier pickups.
• Maintain stock records in Cin7, including cycle counts.
• Kit parts for workshop rebuilds and support the workshop team.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and sales to keep orders moving.
• Manage core returns and warranty items.
• Keep store and yard organized and WHS compliant.

Stores Coordinator FS Equipment Pty Ltd | Hemmant, Brisbane QLD Classification: Warehousing, Storage & Distribution Stock Control & Inventory | Full time $80,000 – $90,000 per year

FS Equipment is the go-to specialist for heavy-duty engine and transmission overhaul across the industrial marine, mining, and power generation sectors in Queensland. Our workshop and parts business moves a lot of stock: Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, and Allison components, Twin Disc and ZF transmission parts, and Fleetguard filtration. We need an experienced Stores Coordinator from the heavy diesel industry to keep it all flowing.

Based in Hemmant, Brisbane, FS Equipment specialises in the overhaul, repair, and rebuild of industrial engines and transmissions for the marine, mining, and power generation industries. The Role

You’ll own the day-to-day running of our store, from receiving to dispatch, and keep stock accurate so the workshop and sales team always have what they need. Our current Stores Coordinator is moving on at the end of the year, so you’ll get a proper handover from someone who knows the system inside out. After that, there’s plenty of room to put your own stamp on how the store runs.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock, matching deliveries against purchase orders
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer, online, and interstate/overseas orders
• Book freight and coordinate courier pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate stock records in our inventory system (Cin7), including cycle counts and stocktakes
• Kit parts for workshop rebuild jobs so fitters have everything ready to go
• Work alongside the Purchasing Coordinator and sales team to keep orders and jobs moving
• Manage core returns and warranty items
• Keep the store and yard organised, safe, and WHS compliant

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Previous stores, warehouse, or parts experience in the heavy diesel industry (marine, mining, power generation, earthmoving, or heavy transport)
• Working knowledge of heavy diesel engine and transmission parts (Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, Allison, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to stock control
• Comfortable using inventory software, email, and Microsoft Office
• Current Australian driver’s licence

Preferred

• Forklift licence
• Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory management systems
• Freight booking and dispatch experience, including international shipments
• Parts interpreting experience

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000 – $90,000 per year + superannuation (commensurate with experience)
• Stable, full-time role with a respected specialist workshop
