Job summary

Wickham Freight Lines Pty Ltd in Warwick, Queensland, is seeking a Storeperson – Parts Trainee to support our workshop and parts operations while developing product knowledge and customer service skills.

You'll handle forklift tasks, receive and process stock, pick workshop orders, and contribute to a clean, safe warehouse. This role offers a clear path into a Parts Interpreter position with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence (essential) and valid Driver's Licence.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload and move stock safely.
• Receive, check and store incoming deliveries.
• Pick orders for workshop and parts.
• Provide general support where required in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with Parts and Workshop teams to ensure excellent customer service.

About the Role
As a Storeperson / Parts Trainee, you'll support our workshop and parts operations while developing your product knowledge and customer service skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a forklift to safely load, unload and move stock
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
• Pick orders for workshop
• General support where required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Working closely with the Parts and Workshop Teams to ensure excellent customer service

What You'll Bring

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Competent computer and data entry skills
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude or an interest in truck parts
• Experience in warehousing, retail, customer service, logistics, trades or similar industries is highly regarded
