Job summary

PFD Food Services is seeking a motivated Storeperson for the night shift in our Geelong warehouse. You will join our overnight operations team to accurately pick, check and prepare customer orders while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

This full-time role offers long-term stability in a growing business focused on teamwork, safety and exceptional service. You will work independently during night hours and contribute to delivering outstanding results for our customers.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift License is required.
• High Reach experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution is preferred.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, pick, pack and cross-check customer orders while maintaining stock rotation practices.
• Load, unload and move stock safely within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Operate within temperature-controlled environments ranging from 4°C to -24°C.
• Conduct stock replenishment and inventory control activities as required.
• Follow OH&S and HACCP requirements, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Meet productivity, quality and accuracy targets during night shift operations.

About this Position

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Current Forklift License (High Reach experience highly regarded)
• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience preferred
• Physical fitness and confidence in manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to picking accuracy
• Experience in cold storage or food distribution environments (advantageous)
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
