Job summary

Civeo Australia seeks a Storeperson for Coppabella Village to receive, record, store and distribute goods, maintaining stock accuracy and operating safely. The role supports village operations with timely supplies and FIFO stock management.

You will work with the village team to ensure compliance, safety and efficient stock handling, enabling smooth dining, housekeeping and site services across shifts.

Qualifications

• HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence required.
• LF Forklift Licence required.
• Australian Driver's Licence required.
• Australian working rights required.
• Previous storeperson/warehouse/inventory control experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment.
• Strong numerical and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-focused with a commitment to compliance.
• Experience in hospitality, remote accommodation or mining village environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and record deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Store goods and maintain quality, food safety and inventory standards.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to minimise waste and expired stock.
• Prepare and distribute stock to kitchen, housekeeping, retail and other departments.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct stocktakes and support inventory audits.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of replenishment requirements.
• Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete or damaged stock.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe storage and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and SOPs.
