Job summary

Ideal Electrical Supplies, a part of Rexel Australia, is seeking a hands-on Storeperson to join our Gympie branch. You’ll combine warehouse duties with internal sales support, keeping stock moving and customers well looked after.

The role offers daily opportunities to pick, pack, process orders, handle quotations, and contribute to a safe, efficient branch team. Two Saturday morning shifts per month are included, with overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in storeperson, warehouse, trade counter, retail or internal sales environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Confidence using computer systems and managing customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately while maintaining a safe, organised warehouse.
• Assist customers at the trade counter, process orders and respond to phone and email enquiries.
• Support internal sales activity, including quotations, order follow-up and product enquiries.
• Help maintain stock accuracy through receipting, put-aways and regular stock checks.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to deliver a smooth, reliable customer experience.
• Work two Saturday morning shifts per month, paid at applicable overtime rates.
