Job summary

Ideal Electrical Supplies, a part of Rexel Australia, is seeking a customer-focused team member for the Gympie branch. This hands-on role blends warehouse and store duties with internal sales support, helping stock movement, order accuracy, and customer care while building a career with a leading global electrical wholesaler.

A typical day includes receiving, picking, packing, dispatching stock, assisting customers at the trade counter, processing orders, quotations, and stock checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles across store, warehouse or trade counter environments.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Confident using computer systems and processing customer transactions.
• Reliable, proactive approach and willingness to support where needed.
• Electrical wholesale or trade industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately while maintaining a safe, organised warehouse
• Assist customers at the trade counter, process orders and respond to phone and email enquiries
• Support internal sales activity, including quotations, order follow-up and product enquiries
• Help maintain stock accuracy through receipting, put-aways and regular stock checks
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to deliver a smooth, reliable customer experience
• Work two Saturday morning shifts per month, paid at applicable overtime rates

Join a close-knit Gympie branch team where your organisation, customer focus and can-do attitude will make a real difference every day.
