Job summary

Rexel Australia is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Store role at our Gympie branch. You will manage stock, assist customers at the trade counter, and support internal sales activities while helping to maintain stock accuracy.

This permanent position combines warehouse duties with customer-facing responsibilities to deliver a reliable Rexel experience. Ideal candidates show strong customer service, eye for detail, and comfort with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Genuine focus on delivering great customer service.
• Experience in storeperson, warehouse, trade counter, retail or internal sales.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Confidence using computer systems and managing customer transactions.
• Reliable, proactive approach and willingness to support wherever needed.
• Electrical wholesale or trade industry experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately while maintaining a safe, organised warehouse.
• Assist customers at the trade counter, process orders and respond to phone and email enquiries.
• Support internal sales activity, including quotations, order follow-up and product enquiries.
• Help maintain stock accuracy through receipting, put-aways and regular stock checks.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to deliver a smooth, reliable customer experience.
• Work two Saturday morning shifts per month, paid at applicable overtime rates.
