Job summary

Jobwire is seeking a reliable, hands-on Storeperson to join a small warehouse team in Melbourne. The role welcomes both experienced operators and those who have recently obtained a forklift licence and want to grow their skills in a supportive environment.

You will be involved in receiving, labelling and palletising, operating Nichiyu and CAT forklifts where needed, and helping maintain a safe, organised warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current forklift licence and operate counterbalance and/or high reach forklifts with care.
• Experience in receiving, despatch, labelling and palletising is preferred.
• Reliability, punctuality and a willing attitude to learn in a small team.

We welcome experienced operators as well as candidates who have recently obtained their forklift licence and are looking to build their skills in a supportive working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operating Nichiyu and CAT forklifts, including counterbalance and high reach where required.
• Handling alcohol and beverage products safely and carefully.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
• Supporting team members with general warehouse duties.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

About you

• A great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and happy to assist and support a small team.
• A current forklift licence, with experience operating counterbalance and/or high-reach forklifts.
• Experience operating Nichiyu and CAT forklifts is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Experience in receiving, despatch, labelling and palletising is preferred.
• Experience handling alcohol and beverage products is an advantage.
