Job summary

Richardson Recruitment is seeking a reliable Storeperson for a global freight forwarding operation in Brisbane. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, and involves receiving and dispatching freight, forklift duties, inventory control and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse.

You will report in a safety-conscious environment with full training provided and opportunities for career development within a global logistics group.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Current forklift high-risk work licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and receipt incoming freight accurately and promptly.
• Weigh, measure and verify freight against vendor documentation.
• Inspect freight for damage and report issues to Warehouse Team Lead.
• Conduct forklift operations safely and efficiently; pick, pack, label and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Load and unload couriers, trucks and containers.
• Monitor stock and prepare data reports for client review.
• Complete SAP-based functions as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and yard and follow safety procedures.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Storeperson to join a global freight forwarding operation in Brisbane. This full-time role involves receiving and dispatching freight, forklift operations, inventory control and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse. Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and receipting incoming freight accurately and promptly
• Weighing, measuring and verifying freight against vendor documentation
• Inspecting freight for damage and reporting issues to the Warehouse Team Lead
• Conducting forklift operations safely and efficientlyPicking, packing, labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading couriers, trucks and containers
• Monitoring stock and preparing data reports for client review
• Completing SAP-based functions as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard
• Following QHSE regulations, warehouse procedures and safe operating practices
