Job summary

Jobtailor in Australia is seeking a capable Warehouse Operator to join our team, handling item movements, forklift operations, and order dispatch. You will contribute to safe, efficient logistics and customer service.

This role requires current forklift and drivers' licenses, flexibility for overtime, and a 5-on-5-off roster (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am). Experience in a similar role and commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process all item movements in and out of the warehouse to Liebherr standards on time.
• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks, racks, and containers.
• Pick, pack, receipt and dispatch orders.
• Arrange and book freight, including quotes.
• Perform general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts, and location reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Support the Parts department with spare parts interpretation and product information.

Warehouse Duties

• Ensure all item movements in and out of the warehouse are processed on time and to Liebherr standards
• Use a forklift to load and unload trucks and warehouse racks, and unload containers
• Pick, pack, receipt and dispatch orders
• Arrange and book freight, including obtaining freight quotes
• Perform general warehouse and housekeeping duties
• Assist with regular stocktakes, cycle count procedures and location reports
• Participate actively in continuous improvement of warehouse operations
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers
• Build skills in the Parts department to assist with interpreting spare parts and providing technical and product information to customers
