Job summary

GCISolutions on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team. You will help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse, manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and support fleet administration to enable frontline teams to deliver essential services.

The role requires a Forklift Licence, experience in warehouse systems, and strong attention to detail. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
• Current Forklift Licence and forklift operating experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems, processes and safety standards.
• Experience with inventory control, stock movements, stocktakes and goods receipt.

The Opportunity

GCISolutions, a Ventia and Downer Joint Venture, delivers essential works and services in partnership with the City of Gold Coast to maintain, renew and improve critical water and waste assets across the region.

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team based in the Gold Coast. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will play a key role in maintaining an efficient warehouse operation, supporting inventory management, logistics coordination, fleet administration, and materials management activities that enable our operational teams to deliver essential services to the community.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a similar warehouse, stores, or logistics environment


• A current Forklift Licence and demonstrated forklift operating experience


• Knowledge of warehouse and logistics systems, processes, and safety standards


• Experience with inventory control, stock movements, stocktakes, and goods receipting


• SAP experience within materials management or purchasing functions is highly regarded


• Sound computer and administrative skills with strong attention to detail


• A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence


• Experience supporting fleet coordination, asset management, PPE administration, or equipment maintenance activities will be highly regarded.
