Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to remedial construction sites across Sydney.
• Assist site teams with general labouring and site support; WHS procedures followed.

The Opportunity

An exciting permanent position is now available for a skilled Storeman / Labourer to join their team located in Homebush. You will be licensed and experienced in operating a Forklift, unloading and loading equipment and building materials onto a small truck and delivering them to site. They are small trucks and only require a full Car licence. You will need to be physically fit and enthusiastic.

Bonus points if you have a test and tag certificate with the ability to test and tag power tools before they go out to various projects across Sydney. This is not an essential requirement but would be highly favourable.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and safely store building materials and products delivered to the warehouse.

• Pick, organise and prepare equipment, tools and building materials for remedial construction sites.
• Load and safely secure materials and equipment onto a small delivery truck — full Australian driver licence required.
• Deliver materials, equipment and products to various remedial construction sites across Sydney.
• Assist site teams with basic general labouring, material handling and site support as required - Construction Induction White Card required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and loading area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a team and communicate respectfully with warehouse, office and site personnel.

About You

We're seeking a respectful, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who brings:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Storeman / Labourer role- Essential requirement.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a Forklift- Essential requirement.
• Forklift Licence - Essential requirement.
• Full Car Drivers Licence - Essential requirement.
• Construction Induction White Card- Essential requirement.
• Desirably seeking someone who has been responsible for safely loading, securing and delivering equipment or product to various locations across Sydney.
• Strong working knowledge of maintaining stock / product levels. Keeping updated records of inbound and outbound stock / product levels.
• Experience in safely securing / tying down loads for delivery to sites
• Clear communicator, ability to communicate respectfully to site staff and suppliers to order various materials
• Physically fit and able to manually load different materials / products / and equipment
